Young Men & Women’s African Heritage Association

The Young Men & Women's African Heritage Association Inc. (YMWAHA) engages the community via our cultural, arts, and education programs which are tailored to promote a sense of determination and accomplishment for all ages. YMWAHA programs were developed with the core philosophy of broadening horizons and encourage participants to view themselves as members of a global multi-cultural, multi-talented society while embracing opportunities for personal achievement, creative expression and social change. In the past two decades YMWHA has offered multi-year sequential programs that utilize community based children and family centered approaches to improve the lives of children and families so they can become positive, active, and contributing members of society.
